WBS KAPA HAKA

 ainui  beach school has kapa haka every single year and it's pretty fun.We have the kapa haka festivals in Gisborne. Last year i was the kia for nui syndicate it was pretty embarrassing. Jasper said neke mato that means move right to go to the front of the stage. 

This year i was in second row and I was behind bay and he was the leader of the haka this year and he was good. One the day when i got to school i got my moko on and then koka Rathiel took a photo of me. After that I got my skirt ready so it fits on me. ween we got on the bus we all sung our songs for a praktis ween we got out of the bus we got in to this huge line. 

When we got all lined up in our lines we headed over to the stage and waited for 10 minutes and then the man with the mikra phone caldas up on to the stage do our proformints we started singing E teriyaki' otina the two hukas'erona and wainuie ween we all sit do

I really injod it because it was really fun on the stage!! I got to sing lots of songs and learn lots of  maori words to songs i didn't know. I was nervous this year and I was excited. I was happy at the end as it was out of the way for another year. 

 

WBS RUGBY

Our school plays rugby we faced wi kidekide school they won by one try the score was 7 6. The next game we faced makaraka school we smashed them. Then we faced micode school we won by one try we got the George bridge shield. It was exciting!! rory and milo are the fastest in our team

cory is our best takeler i rekin.to moro were playing an agrad team there really good at rugby 

I hop we win and then we will be in the finals. 

Tairawhiti Environment Center(TEC)

 Did you know that our rubbish is trucked out of town?

Harry, Arthur, Kirsty and I ate this sour lemon stuff while we were doing composting.  It looked like a leff

It was so sour. I loved it because it reminded me of sour worm lollies. 

 

After we went into this room with lots of rubbish we watched a video of the coast. It was not cool because there was a lot of rubbish. Water flooded the old dump and rubbish went into the ocean. This will get into the fish bodies. I don't want to eat fish if it is in their stomach. 

 

The bus picked us up late because it was piking up Te Wharau.I really enjoyed my day at the environment center because we got to learn new stuff. 

Room 1 skipping

Whipp!!! The rope hit my legs ’’ouch’’ I screamed.  64, 65, 66, 67, 68 the time’s up, this is my record. Vinnie screamed “you beat me by 36 skips”

“Yes I did” I cried! 

Room 1 have been skipping for cross country. Skipping helps you get better at running, it makes you fasters as your building your arm and leg muscles. 

I really want to get 1st place in cross country this year.  Arthur is the fastest in year 4. Arthur, Moss, Archie, Roy and I are the top five fastest boy runners in year 4. 

I did not no how to skip now i can get up to 75 skips.
